1) UNDERSTAND BETTER THE TIMING NUTRIENT INTAKE AROUND TRAINING SESSIONS AND COMPETITIONS TO MAXIMIZE PERFORMANCE, RECOVERY, AND ADAPTATION. THIS INCLUDES PRE- EXERCISE, DURING-EXERCISE, AND POST-EXERCISE NUTRITION STRATEGIES.
2) KNOW WHY THE APPROPRIATE INTAKE OF CARBOHYDRATES, PROTEINS, AND FATS TO MEET THE ENERGY DEMANDS OF TRAINING AND COMPETITION, SUPPORT MUSCLE REPAIR AND GROWTH, AND MAINTAIN OVERALL HEALTH IS VERY IMPORTANT. KNOW THE RATIO OF MACRONUTRIENTS MAY
VARY DEPENDING ON INDIVIDUAL GOALS, SPORT TYPE, TRAINING INTENSITY, AND DURATION.

3) MAINTAINING OPTIMAL FLUID BALANCE BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER EXERCISE TO PREVENT DEHYDRATION, MAINTAIN PERFORMANCE, AND SUPPORT PHYSIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS. HAVE PROPER HYDRATION STRATEGIES INCLUDE MONITORING FLUID INTAKE, ELECTROLYTE REPLACEMENT, AND ADDRESSING INDIVIDUAL SWEAT RATES.
4) EMPHASIZING NUTRIENT-DENSE FOODS THAT PROVIDE ESSENTIAL VITAMINS, MINERALS, ANTIOXIDANTS, AND PHYTONUTRIENTS TO SUPPORT IMMUNE FUNCTION, REDUCE INFLAMMATION, AND PROMOTE RECOVERY. WHOLE FOODS SUCH AS FRUITS, VEGETABLES, LEAN PROTEINS, WHOLE GRAINS, AND HEALTHY FATS ARE PRIORITIZED IN THE DIET
